<Artist Statement>
There are random figures in my painting and they are doing something unknown.
Viewers will not be able to know why they are doing such a thing.
And viewers will be also left with the feeing of a little humor and a little cruel.
Lives of real people appear somehow mysterious and comical to me, just like my works. And this has been a consistent theme since my days as a manga artist.
